About Our Company

My name is Frank Manna, President of Gateway Industries Inc. and G.I. Air Conditioning & Heating. I have been providing air conditioning and heating solutions to South Florida's Treasure Coast since 1992.

I moved to Port St. Lucie in 1988 from Long Island, New York and spent the next four years fulfilling the requirements to become a state certified licensed contractor. My training in the HVAC (Heating,Ventilation & Air Conditioning) industry was at SUNY (State University of New York) in Stony Brook.

Vice President and Service Manager James Pinault has been with the company since 1994. His loyalty and devotion to customer satisfaction is unsurpassed. His vast knowledge of system operations and analyses makes him a most valued asset to this company. He is constantly keeping up with the changes this industry is presenting to us.

Today's trend to "Go Green" is certainly keeping us on our toes. Switching to the use of new ozone-friendly refrigerants and higher-efficiency equipment is not only our goal but should be the goal of everyone. Federal regulations have made it mandatory to comply to these new standards and we are in total agreement with these changes. The overall outcome will not only provide a lower impact to our environment, but for the environment of generations to come as well.

The military theme we adopted for our company stems from the admiration we have for our men and women in the armed forces and the gratitude we have for our veterans. We belong to several veteran and fraternal organizations by which we support our disabled vets and troops overseas.

Why are we telling you all this?

The main reason is to let you know that we care, not only about our men and women in uniform, but about the general public as well. We don't want you to be misled by some HVAC contractors that only want to help themselves to your hard-earned money.

The "Golden Rule" is first and foremost in our work ethic and we abide by it every day. We know that money doesn't come easy in these difficult times, and that's why so many of our pleased customers are referring us to their friends. In fact, our company receives more word-of-mouth advertising than a lot of other companies in our area, and as a result, we keep busy. Because our advertising budget is so low, we pass our savings along to our customers.

We are a small company, so most of our customers ask for a technician by name. We like that because it allows us to provide good personal service. We think folks should know who's coming to work on their A/C system since safety is a major concern.

You should be aware that an air conditioning system needs to be free of mold, mildew and debris so you can breathe better, and electrical connections need to be inspected and tightened to prevent short circuits and ultimately, fires. Having your A/C system checked annually should be a priority, not only from the safety aspect, but from the efficiency aspect as well. A well-maintained air conditioner will give you years of good reliable service. In all our years in the service business we've heard a few customers grumble about the ever- increasing price of equipment and materials, but never about the quality of the service they received or the way they were treated by us.

Our mission is to provide friendly, reliable service and expert HVAC advice at a reasonable cost to the good folks of the Treasure Coast.

Thank you for your interest.
